A revamped Museums side batted first and set off at a fair pace, their two openers both hitting 25 and retiring. They reached 69 for 0 from 16 overs before the Blades attack got amongst them. Meering 3 for 9 was the best of the bunch as Musos ended on 93 for 6.

Toon belted the first ball for 4 and Blades were off on the charge. This innings too was pegged back, setting up a grandstand finish. Terry faced the last ball needing a boundary to win, only to see the stumps fly. 90 for 7.
