Who has been your Player of the Year for 2017? Certainly not Versamy, I would suggest – she hasn’t delivered the weather we needed at all – so she isn’t on the list.
But every Blade who donned the Baggy Blue this year is in the poll below, waiting for YOUR vote and the chance to join that elite list of POTYs…
Champagne Moment Contenders
The Awards dinner is just a few weeks away, so we need to do some voting; let’s start the ball rolling with Champagne Moment, but first we need a shortlist. I’ve compiled this list from the games I was at:

Lowe-‘s perfectly weighted run out
Chamberlain’s two-wicket almost-maiden under pressure - Shirley away, 5th July
Afzal wicket in the opening over, steadying Blades nerves

Galpin’s retirement for 26*
but I need your suggestions of other Moments to consider from games that I missed, namely:

It’s no surprise that tonight’s game is cancelled as the curse of Wet Wedndesday Weather strikes again. Winchester have offered us a replacement game on THU 10th August, so please register your names HERE as soon as possible so we can get a team together.
